What Is A Rhythm Event?

A rhythm event, or drum circle, is an interactive gathering of people using accessible tools – drums, percussion, and body movements – to build connections, open communications, and increase a sense of individual and group wellness.
  • All ages and abilities can participate

  • Appropriate for all group sizes.

  • No prior experience is necessary.

  • If your heart is beating, then you can drum!

People have an innate desire and ability to express rhythm, and most people, once they've experienced a drum circle event, express great enjoyment and changes in their feeling of personal well being along with their relationships with others in the group.

Group drumming, by its nature, produces balance, harmony and rhythm on both personal and group levels. Group synergy builds results in an effective and uplifting experience.

The mission of Roots To Rhythm is to help create a positive path of communication, empowerment, balance, growth, and wellness on both individual and group levels using the rhythm experience as a metaphor of life!

The improvisational process in a Roots To Rhythm™ program helps develop essential life skills: listening, connecting with and respecting others, and finding the balance of leadership while also supporting the whole.

A rhythm event is a model of a successful organization – people working together, in the moment, simultaneously creating and receiving. In this energetic and joyful environment, an organization will achieve a successful outcome – Outcome From Within!™
